Newborn & babies

Firstly, congratulations if you are expecting, or have already had your baby. As soon as you know you would like to have some Newborn Photoshoot with us, please get in touch. Ideally we would have your newborn photography session when the baby is within its first weeks of life, however don’t worry if your baby is older, we can do these sessions with newborns and older babies. Feel free to contact us with your due date and we work flexibly around that.

Newborn, Siblings and family.

We encourage parents to get involved and we may ask you to aid in any baby posing. If you wish to have a portrait done with your baby, that's great. We will add a couple to the session. If you have any siblings that you would like adding, we can accommodate too. We work to the needs of you, your family and your baby.

We work with you to find your style. The newborn days are so precious, yet so fleeting. As photographers, we can appreciate how quickly these days go by and how important it is to capture all of the sweet details of our new babies, while they are still little.

A great perk of using love life photography is that we come to you! We don't expect you to drag your newborn baby out in all weathers, we travel to you and complete your shoot in the comfort of your home.

As a freelance photographer we offer personlised photo sessions in the comfort of you home. its extra important to keep you babys comfortable and warm for the perfect shoot. You have the added benefit of a personalised home service.

If you wish to have you baby photographed with particular items such as a teddy bear, a special gift, your own favourite choice of things, we are happy for you to use your personal items in with your photography shoot. If you are happy for us to bring additional props along we are more than happy to provide props too. We work with you to find out your personal style. We can discuss props within your booking.

Yes, Of course, our photography shoot price is our basic price for your photo shoot, however we do offer additional extras if you choose to go on and purchase those. We offer a range of photo gifts, keepsakes, prints and frames for you to explore. We also offer personlised products, such as photobooks, calendars, mugs and laser engraved gifts too . I recommend booking your newborn photography session in advance when you have had your 20 week scan so we can pencil in a date based on your due date. If you are a last minute thinker or have only just decided newborn photography would be perfect for you and you are past the 20 week stage, don't worry, get in touch as soon as possible to pencil in a date.

We recommend booking your photoshoot for your newborn baby between 10-15 days after birth, however we offer photo shoots for older babies & toddlers too.

Please let me know when your little bundle arrives and we can confirm your session, ideally within the first 7- 14 days of baby’s life and ideally before they are two week's old if possible. The very early newborn stage allows us to grab amazing details. Our baby's grow far too quick you will want these very early special memories to keep forever.

Newborn sessions are relaxed and slow-paced as I work around the needs of your baby. Your baby may be sleeping. I appreciate babies sleep a lot of the time when they are newborn. If we are lucky we may capture your baby awake. However, don’t worry about waking your baby up, or having your baby awake. We can work around your baby's routine and gain perfect images in the session we have whether they are sleeping or fully awake. I like a combination of posed and more natural images of a baby and I will aim to photograph the baby in comfortable and safe poses.

I also love to photograph the new baby with siblings if they have any and parents too. If the newborn baby has siblings. We welcome them to join in at no additional cost.

Your newborn baby shoot can take anywhere from one hour or 2 hours.

Ideally keep you babys nappy as slack as possible before the shoot to avoid any marks on the skin. This could enable us to gain natural body shots of your baby's beautiful skin.

Yes, of course, we love newborns, but we loves all ages of babies too! We offer newborn, toddlers and children of any age. we know how much your children grow, we love to capture them growing at any stage of their life. Toddlers will only be charged newborn prices.
